Umarex Tavor 21 Elite AEG Airsoft Rifle Review
There are airsoft guns, and then there ARE Airsoft Guns. There can be a large divide between the cheap airsoft guns and the expensive ones, with them differing largely in Design, Accuracy, and just about everything else.
We got the Umarex Tavor 21 Elite AEG Airsoft Rifle for Review, and as usual we pushed it to its limits, shot after shot, to gauge its potential.

Features:
- Nylon Reinforced Design
- One Expansion Rail
- Metal Gearbox
- Licensed IWI Trademark
The Umarex Tavor 21 Elite has a nylon reinforced Polymer Design, so it would last you through many a shooting match. It even has the licensed IWI Trademark, making it look authentic. It has just the perfect Weight to feel comfortable in your Hands. Although it looks great and the weight feels assuring, we have heard users reporting problems with the Tavor 21 Elite after plowing through about 300 Rounds.
It has only one rail for expansion, which is a bit disappointing, since the F9 P90 comes with three Expansion Rails (We are spoiled, we know.)
It has flip-up Front and Rear Sights. The Gun was very accurate during our testing, helping us to blow of targets situated far away with ease. It supports upto 300 Round Magazines, and changing Magazines was an easy task.
Its Gearbox is made fully out of metal, increasing its durability even more. It is compatible with most version 2 gearbox parts. It can achieve a rate of 300-350 FPS with 0.2G BBs, which is not too impressive. It isn’t bad, it isn’t good, it is just average.
It has an adjustable Hop-Up System, which is something that is becoming common on airsoft guns nowadays.
The Tavor 21 Elite supports Butterfly Type Batteries, with the recommended Voltage being 9.6V, which provides optimal performance while not guzzling up battery Life. Speaking of batteries, the Tavor 21 Elite has an oddly satisfying battery Compartment. It is a bit odd, we know, but we simply cannot stop popping in batteries in the Tavor 21 Elite, because Umarex made it so easy and convenient.
Pros:
- High Quality Design
- It Looks Great
- Very Accurate
- Durable Gearbox
- Oddly Satisfying Battery Compartment
Cons:
- May get busted after 300 Rounds
- Only one expansion Rail
All in all, the Tavor 21 Elite is an excellent Airsoft Gun, and the only drawback to buying this gun is that there is only one expansion rail. If you want to add all sorts of accessories to your gun, then this isn’t the right choice for you, but otherwise, the Tavor 21 Elite is a solid option. You do have to note that there is the chance of your gun going berserk after heavy use.
We haven’t yet experienced it working oddly, but it is still a risk as quite a few users have reported that their Tavor 21 Elite is highly inaccurate, or its parts get jammed after a bit of usage.
